Is all I want for Christmas really "you"
We all know the saying...
"All I want for Christmas is you"
Which in my opinion isn't as ridiculous as it seems but it does beg me to ask the question
Will Santa really go through all the effort of making you mine? even when I know that on your wish list, I might be far from what you want for Christmas
Is it really that Father Christmas can spread love like Cupid on Valentine's Day
is it that anyone and everyone can get such a gift from a man that mainly delivers toys to kids once a year?
and if it is really possible will that love ever last longer than the season of which it was gifted in or will it eventually be forgotten like every other gift after the season
but when perspectives are changed and when look at it in a different lense. When
you hear those famous words from Mariah Carey instead of it literally meaning I want "you"
you hear those famous words from Mariah Carey instead of it literally meaning I want "you"
I think it means I want the joy happiness and comfort you brought me
because that is the ultimate feeling of Christmas
spend it with your family, friends, loved ones, absolutely anyone that brings the utmost joy to your heart because that's what it's all about.... milking every moment of it as y'all come together to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ
